To access this new feature, make sure you update your Sailsense mobile app to version V4.2 or later! Your boat must also be equipped with a Sailsense Hub Pro
The BoatGuard module focuses on your boat's safety. It combines advanced security monitoring using Zigbee sensors with geofencing technology, allowing you to track your boat’s location and detect unauthorized access or onboard hazards—all from your mobile device!

The BoatGuard module will look different depending on whether you have Zigbee sensors installed.
Without Zigbee Sensors
If no Zigbee sensors are installed, the screen will display:
1. A section to add or discover Zigbee sensors. Follow an easy setup process that will allow you to add new sensors to our system.
2. A section for geofencing monitoring. You can activate and configure geofencing alerts to be notified if your boat moves outside a predefined area.
When you click on the blue "Add sensor" button, you will be taken to a screen allowing you to pair a new sensor with our system!
With Zigbee Sensors
If Zigbee sensors are already installed on your boat and configured in the app, the screen will display:
1. A section for security sensors. Here, you can see the status of your sensors, activate different safety modes (Off, Night, Away), and configure sensor settings.
2. A section for geofencing monitoring. You can activate and adjust geofencing settings to track unauthorized movement.
Once you click on the arrow at the top right of the first block, you will be taken to the Sensors list screen :
If you click on one of the sensors from the list, you will be taken to the Sensor Information page :
From that screen you will be able to :
- Get your sensor status
- Setup your system by activating or not a specific sensor in one of the special Modes (STAY, AWAY, always active)
- Unpair this sensor
