Controls Module - Remotely manage onboard equipment

The Controls module in our mobile app enables you to remotely manage onboard equipment such as lights, pumps, fridges, freezers and more. This module offers a convenient way to manage onboard systems remotely, ensuring efficiency and ease of use. By categorizing equipment and providing intuitive toggles, this feature helps you maintain control over your boat’s essential functions.

1. Filtering by Category

The first section consists of category filters that allow you to quickly find specific virtual switches. Categories will change depending on your boat's specific model but may include, as we see in our example :

• All (displays every switch)

• Lights

• Navigation

• Pumps

• Breakers

Selecting a category refines the list of displayed switches, making it easier to manage specific equipment types.

2. Virtual Switches and Equipment Control

Starting from section 2, you will find the available virtual switches classified into different sections. Again, these sections will depend on your specific configuration. In our example screenshot we see the 3 following Categories : 

• General: Includes commonly used equipment such as HIFI systems, fridges, freezers, and lighting.

• Starboard Hull: Contains equipment specific to the starboard side, such as bilge pumps.

• Port Hull: Lists devices located on the port side of the boat.

Each listed piece of equipment has a toggle switch that allows you to turn it on or off with a simple tap. The displayed current (in Amperes) provides real-time feedback on power usage.
